Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help our students now and for years to come! Our school throws a BIG fun day to celebrate academic and social-emotional learning at the end of the year. We rent bounce houses and waterslides, as there is no grass for the students to have traditional field day games on. We also rent a popcorn maker, snowcone machine, and cotton candy machine for the students, as this is a VERY BIG DEAL to them.

Many of our students do not get an opportunity to leave the neighborhood to experience a circus, fair, or any type of traditional summer activities.

We try to provide those experiences for our students at school. It would be wonderful to have our OWN machines to use year after year, and spend all of our fund-raised monies for MORE activities for the children to participate in on that day. Please help our school provide an absolutely awesome end of year celebration this year and for years to come!
