This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
Each and every student has worked so hard to make a lasting impression not only in the classrooms but in our hearts as well. We want to make sure they have some goodies for them on the graduation table to help them to remember all the positive successors they have learned and the the fun times they had while in elementary school.
I remember the love each student expressed as they walked across the stage to receive their diplomas and gifts last year, as it reminded them to keep putting their best foot forward.
The stainless teal cups will be used to remind the students to stay hydrated as they work hard in and outside of the classroom. The book will be a keepsake to remind them of all of the places they will go and the greatness they will achieve.
This book will be used to travel with them beyond elementary school and used as an autograph book for each new level of learning achieved. The bag of chips will be a snack to remind them "they are all that and a bag of chips". Each eraser is to remind them to erase their fears as they face new challenges. Each ring pop will resemble their future class ring. The shirts and vinyl will help us to identify the students in a crowd as we go on our class trip. Lastly, the tassel will be a gift to remind them they have made it successfully through their elementary milestone "Class of 2024".
We thank each and everyone in advance for their donations. As it will help us to send off these bright, less privileged student, to the next grade level. While also giving them a chance to show their full potential because we believed in them.
