Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My middle students love to make and wear rubber band/ clay bracelets. Both boys and girls love the style and know how to make them. Our school just started an incentive program where one of the rewards requested by students was bracelets.

Students in my Civics class want to make the bracelets and donate them to the school to use as an incentive reward .

This project helps kids participate in helping their school community in a positive way. It also gives a sense of school spirit and pride. Our school is newly opened after years of being closed and we are trying to build a positive school culture.
