My Project

Help my students deepen their learning with collaborative conversations. A large oval rug will allow the students to face and speak to each other directly.

Inquiry based learning is a vital component in deepening student's learning and ability to critically think.

Collaborative conversations work best when students are facing each other in a circle or oval. This helps them communicate with each other, share ideas, and ask each other questions. These conversations can be used in just about every subject area!

This rug will give my students a positive and dedicated space to work and inquire collaboratively. The extra advantage to this particular rug is the world map. Geography is an important part of our curriculum and it's nice that we can use the rug, not only as a dedicated collaborative place, but also as a discussion piece in out geography lessons.
