My Project

This project is for an instructional whiteboard at our law academy in Sarasota County, FL. We have a unique and growing magnet program across grades 9-12 for students interested in law or law-related education. It's a place to learn rigorous thinking and strong communication skills with a civics-minded, legal focus, but the skills will serve a high school student well on many future paths of educational and career growth.

Our modern classroom -- the only one of its kind in our county and neighboring counties -- has a courtroom setup, consistent with its purpose.

However, its courtroom focus and other modern technology leave us with no unfinished wall space or whiteboard for simple, interactive writing and posting of student work. A movable, double-sided, magnetic whiteboard of modest size would fill this niche beautifully. It would expand our communication and display tools. It is familiar to students, teachers, and substitutes alike. It would not disrupt or disturb the installed classroom facilities. It would enhance our classroom dynamic -- and dynamism!
