My Project

Our classroom needs new historical fiction books for our book clubs and materials to help with our study of the California Gold Rush and the Westward Movement. We are going to use these candle supplies to make candles and compare them to how early pioneers made candles out of tallow. We are going to do some gold panning and are hoping to find some gold (painted) nuggets!

These new books will be used for our historical fiction book clubs.

The authors use historical events to take the reader on adventures of their choosing. Each book offers alternate endings based on the reader's choices. This is such a fun way to show how quickly paths can change.

Ms. Bohner will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by July 5.
