This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These items, such as the globe, fossil collection, and skeleton model, will help my students connect the topics we’re learning about to real life exploration in both science and social studies. I work at a Title 1 school where these additional resources for learning are often limited. While a picture can be helpful, real-life examples and tools can provide so many learning opportunities and exploration. My students are eager to learn, and I know that these resources would elevate my lessons and make learning more engaging and meaningful. Their overall excitement for learning would be elevated by having access to these materials. I can only imagine their excitement!
