Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

For the sophomores at our school, this is the first year they have taken an AP history class. Many of them are feeling overwhelmed with the sheer volume of content we need to cover for this course, and on top of that, they are learning how to write in-depth historical analysis essays. As they learn how to study for college-level courses, many want to explore using AP prep books and flash cards to build their content knowledge.

Over half of my students will be first-generation college students.

Many do not have access to study books like these and cannot afford to buy them on their own. My goal is to give these books to my students so they can do their absolute best on this exam like I know they can. Any donation helps over 100 students pave their way to college and a thriving career in the future.
