Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students in our classroom are creative and very health conscious. I have taught them how to do this by using a lot of Hand Sanitizer and Clorox Wipes. They always use the wipes after every transitional activity. I also have them clean areas using the wipes at least 2 times throughout our day.

My students love to create projects!

They begin by wiping down the area and making sure that the surface is safe and clean. I have taught them that it is a lot easier to keep an area clean then just to ignore it and let the waste pile up.

We do several projects using the markers and the colored pencils. When we do maps for instance, we only use colored pencils. When we do white board activities and academic teaming we use the dry erase markers. The markers do not seem to last, so we do use a bunch.

Having these supplies will keep their creative juices flowing!
