Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Third graders are interested in learning about science and social studies! They are amazed by concepts they are discovering for the first time, and excited about going deeper into concepts in which they are familiar. The books will further their learning and their personal investigations into the standards.

My 60 wonderful students are intrigued by scientific investigations and real people who made a difference.

These books will be used in class and they can take them home to read on their own time. The science activities are so important for students. They love hands-on learning and they get so excited when they are participating in these activities.

The headphones and whiteboards are added necessities to any upper level elementary classroom. The headphones are for individual learning, state testing and for my students that utilize text-to-speech accommodations. The whiteboards are another way to make learning fun - they would much rather write an answer on a whiteboard than a piece of paper. Students love vinyl stickers, and I love giving them out!

I want my students to have the best third grade year ever, and these materials will help me provide that for them. They are awesome kids, and they ought to have everything they need to learn effectively.
