Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have made a list of some of the basic necessities that we need for our classroom. We have some of these materials in our classroom right now but we are running out. These are materials that we use every single day or serve to make classroom models for my students.
Students need these materials to continue learning and practicing their English writing, speaking, and reading skills!
For example, we use the giant notepads to create grammar rules and models. Lined paper and pencils are materials that we constantly use to write and form their thoughts. We use note cards, rubber bands, and pens to create flashcards for each unit that requires vocabulary. Some of the other materials are to enhance our classroom such as a game buzzer when we play interactive grammar games or magnets to hold student work as we build pride and self confidence in them!
We will greatly appreciate all of your help towards refilling some of these materials we are running out of.
