Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These word builders, magnetic letters, markers, and other materials are used to engage students in working small groups. These groups are made work with students who are behind in reading levels and need practice in phonics. Students will practice sounds, high frequency words, and improving their reading skills.

I am hoping that these materials will engage students more in their reading and phonics.

These students are in fourth grade so it is important for them to learn their phonics and reading structures. It gives students a visual and allows them to practice independent word creating skills along with guided practice.

Incorporating magnetic letters and whiteboard materials into fourth-grade classrooms offers a dynamic and engaging approach to teaching phonic and reading skills. These tools provide a multisensory experience that caters to diverse learning styles, making the learning process enjoyable and effective. By fostering collaboration and hands-on exploration, educators can empower students who are still developing their reading abilities, setting them on a path toward literacy success. As we embrace these innovative methods, we contribute to creating a positive and stimulating learning environment that inspires a love for reading in every fourth-grade student.
