My Project

Students need more hands-on learning and having more supplies will help. On one level, we make military fortresses and ad campaigns for visiting the Roman Forum.

On another level, we recreate the eruption of Mt.

Vesuvius and travel to some of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. If we have more crafts and kinesthetic learning, students will have the opportunity to create and build while making connections to today's world and structures. Making history come alive at their hands increases the likelihood that students will remember what they have learned. That is why we need construction paper, bulletin board border, pencils, and other items.
