This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
Unfortunately, bullying has become a concern at our school. In response, we're organizing an event to speak out against bullying and provide students with information on where to seek help and how to speak up. We aim to make it an engaging day where students can dress up as superheroes to promote kindness and unity, demonstrating that being a superhero means being a buddy, not a bully.
While bullies may not wear capes, heroes certainly do.
Additionally, we'll incorporate creative activities for students to express that we are allies, not adversaries. Many of my students come from immigrant and refugee families. By wearing capes and masks, we'll create a fun and imaginative atmosphere, reinforcing the message that speaking out against bullying is not only essential but also empowering. Let's celebrate being ourselves while standing up against bullying!
