Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students will need to use Display Board to teach a mini-lesson to other students at our school introducing the Chinese language and cultures they learned during the school year.

This is also an IB personal project in which I will use the sentence strip to create the Unit Framework including key concepts, SOI, global concepts, and so forth.

While students are working on the project, they will need to use headphones to watch some videos and they will use the Panda Plush as their talking piece symbol that they can pass around the class for sharing and speaking.

The project will cover 3 parts: 1) Chinese culture (definition, history, and comparison with your own cultures), 2) Chinese words (pronunciation, meaning, and writing), 3) a city to visit in China (name and location of the city, what to see and to do in the city).
