Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are so close to the end of the school year! I can not believe that this year is almost over. It has been an adventure of a year and I am going to miss these kids! I am so sad to think about not seeing them for our summer break. The summer is such a crucial time for our students. If students do not use their skills, they experience what is known as the "summer slide". This is when students slip backwards in what they have learned.

This project provides fun items that will help keep their brain working and them learning without realizing it!

Students will complete madlibs with their fun, smelly pencil. They will be able to build and create with their playdough and then can write about it in their new journal. Students can also work on their puzzle books to help keep their mind sharp. The desk pet won't necessarily help with skills but it will be a fond memory of our class as that was something that we did together. Thank you for helping me keep my students sharp over summer break. We appreciate your support.
