This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Please give my classroom a midyear supply boost with headphones, paper and other resources. I am asking for paper carton so students can continue to have individual materials, especially when it comes to learning how to write their names. This skill takes a dedicated daily practice, with each student learning at their own pace. It is important to learn by writing on paper with a writing tool.

This gives their hands, fingers, wrists and even elbows a tactile feedback that simply isn't received by using a dry erase sleeve.

The brain builds muscle memory on how to form letters and use appropriate spacing. We give each child an individualized tracing sheet, which adds up fast!

I thank you in advance for supporting my classroom so we can continue to make personal growth, but as a collective whole.
