Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My first-grade students come to school every day excited to learn. Reading is the foundation of everything they do from writing to math to science.

I am so proud of the reading progress my students have made this year.

Some of them have gone up a whole grade level in just four months!

This is my first year teaching first grade, and my classroom library is still very small. The books I'm asking for are at a level that will allow my students to do more independent reading. They will be so excited to get these new books in our classroom and to start reading them!
