My Project

Many special education students benefit from keyboarding as an alternative to complete written communication tasks. Some student's who struggle with handwriting tasks have difficulty switching to technology as a primary means of written expression due to decreased training/education and decreased access to adaptive materials that will set them up for success.

These adaptive materials will help my students learn basic keyboarding and computer skills needed to improve their independence as they grow and the presence of technology becomes more prevalent in today's society.

These materials will help eliminate barriers due to varying visual skills, fine motor skills, and motor planning skills.
