Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

This project will help provide my classroom with a book binding machine and spirals. These materials will be used to make adapted books for my students. I currently teach in preschool cross categorical classroom. My classroom support 16 students with special needs. My students learn to communicate (verbally or through a communication system), self-help skills, social emotional skills, physical development, and independence.

These projects will provide my students with numerous books that are interactive and of their interest.

These books will offer them the ability to be more interested in books and be more independent in exploring books. I will create books that support their learning and development in our program.
