Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are seeing many students in crisis and these books will be an amazing tool to assist my students with learning appropriate and realistic coping strategies. These books will also help our newcomer students with identifying their emotions with the simple language, skills, and activities.

These books will provide many strategies and examples of how to cope when students face all kinds of diversity.

I strive to assist my students with acknowledging and identifying their feelings and then learning strategies on how to work with those feelings. These books will be used in a whole group setting and the plushies will be used in our 'chill zone' that will help my students to find coping strategies that work for them.

I think the educators guide will be a wonderful resource to ensure that I am accessing the Little Spot series in the most meaningful way!
