This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love playing instruments in the Music Room! I would love a new way to explore high, medium, and low pitches on a percussion instrument which will be fun and exciting for the students to explore these sounds. The Jam Block is a colorful and very interesting set of pitches based off of instruments we have never explored, namely the cow bell and sambago bell.

This new addition to our classroom will generate creativity from each child as they explore high, medium, and low pitches.

I would love for my students to compose their own original compositions based on the colors of the Jam Blocks.
