This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are asking for art supplies! We have a sweet and creative group of students. We are asking for materials such as oil pastels, color tape, foam stickers and paint. My students have a unique creativity and I love that about them. I want to put materials in their hands that will encourage that. Materials more than markers will expose my young learners to many possibilities of creating they can explore to make art.

“Art is never finished, only abandoned” as once said by the great Leonardo Da Vinci.

In a world where children of all ages are more engaged in electronics, I want my students to discover the beauty of creating something beautiful, different and amazing with their own hands.
