Help me give my students a clean environment and their teacher access to basic materials used in the classroom on a daily basis. These materials will help us to better display student work.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
My students absolutely love writing, drawing, and creating visual art to display in our classroom. Our classroom has limited bulletin board space so we have to display some of their work on the walls. Unfortunately, the walls in our classroom seem to repel tape. Most everything we put on the walls with masking tape, falls off within a week. Therefore, we're hoping to get some quality tapes as well as a staple gun to better adhere their work to the walls and boards.
As they are becoming better writers, my students enjoy using dry erase boards, journaling, and making their own books.
In an effort to encourage them in their love of writing, I want them to have access to materials and tools, such as a paper cutter and long reach stapler, that will allow them to create books and art to share in class and with their families.
