This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
The goal of this lesson is to use the Makey Makey hardware and hot plate to help conduct a lesson about the body's integumentary system and sensory neurons. The Makey Makey scratch app will help the students to learn coding. Students will learn 21 century skill and critical thinking skills in order to construct an algorithm. They will think creatively, by building and scaffolding on more complex unit. In terms of the body system unit, they can overlay a skin cell with receptors. They can plug the Makey Makey where the hair follicles are located. Through this response, the skin cell can shiver by connecting to one circuit, the skin cell can sweat by connecting to another circuit.
