This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The goal of requesting first grade school supplies is to ensure that students have all the necessary tools and resources to succeed in their academic in first grade. By providing students with these materials (pencils, glue, play dough, markers, pencil sharpener, fidgets, erasers, scissors, ball, sunglasses, pail & shovel), it can help me create a structured and conducive learning environment that promotes engagement and growth. Additionally, having access to quality school supplies can enhance the overall educational experience for students, enabling them to explore their creativity, develop critical thinking skills, and build a strong foundation for future learning.
What makes our students special is their unique and diverse backgrounds, talents, and abilities.
Each student brings something valuable to the classroom, whether it be their enthusiasm for learning, their curiosity about the world, or their creativity in problem-solving. My students are resilient, determined, and eager to learn, making them a joy to teach and guide. As an educator, I strive to nurture and support the individual strengths and talents of each student, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment where everyone feels valued and respected. My students inspire me every day with their passion for learning and their willingness to embrace new challenges.
