This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students need hands-on, concrete learning experiences to help them build their numerical understanding. They need to be actively involved in the learning process where they are the ones doing the thinking and discovering to make math more meaningful.

Math Stackers puts the power of math in your kids’ hands and builds them up to be math thinkers!

Math Stackers is purposefully designed by an educator specializing in mathematics education.

Each aspect of Math Stackers’ intuitive magnets has been purposefully designed to maximize kids’ discovery and interaction with math through stacking, comparing, questioning, and proving their own ideas and theories.

Math Stackers invites any learner to take risks and test out their own thinking about math without any negative consequences…if you stack something that ends up being incorrect, no big deal, you just discovered something that doesn’t work… just knock it over and continue the learning!

This kind of learning gives kids a new way to think about and interact with math. It captivates and encourages young mathematicians to wonder and think about “how does math work?”

Math Stackers are a powerful learning tool that helps students deepen their understanding of math concepts, such as ordering, comparing, adding, and subtracting. I am so excited to get Math Stackers for my lovely learners.
