This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love that my students enjoy picking up trash and earning points for prizes! Why not take it a step further and encourage students to reuse cloth headphone bags instead of going through plastic ones?

The requested drawstring cloth bags will be durable and long-lasting, and better for the environment in the long run.

The bags will be labeled with student names, helping me encourage them to be more responsible and resourceful stewards of Earth.

There will be enough bags for this school year and next. Students will be able to take them home and return back to school more prepared with a needed supply, and learned about reusing.
