This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
We want to build an indoor garden for our students to learn how to grow their own food! These indoor hydroponic growing stations will allow our students to grow lettuce, tomatoes, herbs and other foods upon request! Our multiple disabilities classroom is excited about the idea of growing our own food! We also need soil and seeds to complete this learning experience.
We are requesting indoor growing stations, soil, seeds and butterfly houses to facilitate meaningful learning experiences in our multiple disabilities classroom!
As well as gardening, we would like to watch caterpillars turn into butterflies this spring. We are requesting two butterfly kits for our classroom! Thank you for your support.
