My Project

I teach Environmental Education at the high school level. We want to plant flowers, grow a vegetable garden, and plant a pollinator gardens. These hands-on learning experiences help students see the power of their ideas and actions. They see that they are change-makers and can leave our Earth better than they found it.

Nature becomes the classroom, offering a diverse and stimulating backdrop for learning.

Complementing the school garden, an outdoor learning environment extends the benefits of nature-based education. Whether it's watching a plant grow, conducting soil composition lab in the garden, or engaging in creative arts by repurposing "trash", outdoor spaces enhance the overall learning experience.
