Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I am writing on behalf of my 1st grade class at B.A. who are currently learning about birds as part of their science curriculum. We are seeking a donation to support our bird unit by purchasing a chicken incubator and a bird feeder with a camera.

The chicken incubator will allow our students to observe the hatching process first-hand and gain a deeper understanding of the life cycle of birds.

This hands-on experience will not only enhance their learning, but also foster a sense of responsibility as they care for the chicks during their early stages of life.

Additionally, the bird feeder with a camera will provide our students with the opportunity to observe and study birds in their natural environment. This technology will allow them to see the birds up close and personal, sparking their curiosity and interest in the world around them.

Your donation will make a significant impact on our students’ education and provide them with valuable learning experiences that will stay with them for years to come. We are extremely grateful for your support and your contribution will directly benefit the education of our 1st grade class.
