Breathe For Change Brings Positive Changes For All...virtually!
I need the on-line B4C course to be equipped with SEL strategies, mindfulness tools, and yoga practices that will support me as an educator and then will help transform the lives of my students
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
Social emotional development is so important for me as an educator and also for my students. I work hard each day to create a safe and happy learning environment for my students so they can flourish. My students will benefit because I can embed SEL strategies as part of my class instruction to gently guide them through difficult mathematical concepts. I try very hard to provide a positive place where they can grow socially and emotionally as well as academically. I would love the opportunity to learn more skills and strategies through Breathe for Change.
Breathe for Change is the world’s only on-line 200-hour Mindfulness, SEL, and Yoga Teacher Training designed for educators by educators for the well-being of educators, students, and entire communities.
The on-line training will equip me with social-emotional learning strategies, mindfulness tools, and yoga practices that will benefit everyone. At the end I will be a certified yoga instructor. I can then lead classes for my student s and school community. I want to attend the Breathe for Change training because I want to learn more tools to manage my own well-being because I know that when I am at my best I can show up as my best for my students and it benefits them. I want my students to feel loved and supported by me! I also want to teach my students strategies and tools they can use to support their own well-being and know how to navigate any life experience that comes their way.
