My Project

I have a wonderful group of 32 ELL students who come from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

I would love to give these wonderful ELL students the opportunity to read and reflect using stories with characters that remind them of themselves.

Updating our classroom library and reading lists will not only give these students newer reading materials, but will help them in their goals in becoming 21st century global citizens. These students who don’t hear stories that reflect their culture in their gen ed classrooms will be so excited to see themselves represented.
