This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I'm requesting your help to give my students cots for nap time.

Rest and relaxation are critical for 3–5-year-old students.

My students are given padded nap mats but, with daily use and daily sanitization, they wear down. Many of these mats peel and fray before the end of the school year. Raised cots are stronger and more durable than mats. They are also more comfortable and easier to sanitize after nap time. With these cots, students will be more comfortable and better able to rest and relax during nap time.
