This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our Pre-K class is full of beautifully unique students. Disabilities are only abilities that haven’t been fully understood yet. Each student shows focus and enthusiasm based on different sensory needs. By having a variety of different sensory items, you can help them stay focused enough to grasp the lesson for the day.

The foundation of our future leaders begins in Pre-K!

A variety in sensory items can help to determine what each child’s specific interest and needs are, allowing their lessons to be tailored. Tailored lessons = interested learning. Once the interest is peaked in learning they are on their way to becoming their best selves!
