Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students are very energetic and motivated. They are very interested in getting to know more about their courses and what it encompasses. They are limited in resources, with over 90% of them qualifying for free or reduced-price lunch. We are excited to see our students learn but know that many of them have limited resources to purchase extra food. Class periods are a bit longer this school year and lunch is later in the day.

This project is to provide some quick, safe, and healthy options for them to refuel.

The snacks, water, and juice are ideal for a distracted student who is ready for lunch but has to wait another hour. This project will help stomp out hunger during the day.
