My Project

There are so many learning goals I want students to experience and meet in our library, but one closest to my librarian's heart is planning and building a reading life. Many things compete for our students' attention and I know when they take the time to write a request, it is because they are excited!

These hot new titles are books students have specifically requested and are anxiously awaiting.

Most of the books requested are the latest in a popular series. A few are replacement requests for books that have been read and loved to death and are falling apart. I know these books absolutely need to be removed from our library because of the layers of repair tape and glue, but I just can't bring myself to pull the metaphorical plug until I know we have a replacement. That's how much students love these books!

Thank you for your help giving our students a fun reading life!
