My Project

I am an occupational therapist and planning to develop a sensory exploration group for my students with special needs. These students are amazing! Unfortunately, the funding for the school is limited and the classroom itself is severely lacking in sensory items. These students deserve to have access to things that work for their sensational brains and all the complexities that come with it. I want to give them opportunities to explore different items. Each student will have opportunities to rate whether or not they like an item and determine how it impacts their energy level (not everyone needs to calm down!). This information and these items can be used and reused to ensure these students have supports in place to help them be at the energy level they need to succeed at school. Any help is greatly appreciated!
