My Project

We have an incredibly diverse group of students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades whose learning was interrupted during the Covid pandemic. Now they are working as hard as they can to meet the rigorous grade level standards set before them.

One important skill is being proficient at telling time on an analog clock or watch.

While this skill is addressed briefly in the younger grades, many of our students have not yet had enough practice to feel proficient and confident in telling time. Some of them are heading to middle school at the end of this year, and we want them to be prepared.

The goal of this project is to provide students with their own analog watches so that they can always have the ability to practice telling time in the hopes that it becomes second nature. These watches are designed as teaching tools, and they are devices that students can keep in order to master this important life skill.
