My Project

It is so important to be able to offer books that are the right books for each child. A library must contain books that have specific phonics skills that a student is working on.

Having the ability to offer "just right books," in my classroom, will allow for the students to pick real texts at a level that can offer them independent success.

These books would be used in conjunction with phonetic and phonemic skills that reinforce the instruction that they received in reading groups. This is one part of cultivating a love for reading.
