My Project

New flexible seating options in my classroom would truly make a huge difference in student engagement and productivity in a number of ways. Students in today's schools need the opportunity to be active and make choices while working by themselves or with a small group.

Whether they are doing a math computer program or participating in project based learning, I believe it would be highly motivating if students could select the type of seating they would prefer as well as being able to move to different areas of the classroom.

Students could also begin to monitor their own needs and behavior by making seating choices that are best for them. A variety of seating choices would make everyday an adventure for elementary kids!
