This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
A fridge sounds like a silly thing to have in the classroom, however, is a highly needed item.
A mini fridge will help store classroom snacks and snack-like crafts that need to be cold.
In 4th grade, we have a designated snack time. Students are asked to bring items for snacks that might need to be refrigerated such as fruits, veggies, and string cheese. With an overloaded school fridge, designated to the whole building, it would be convenient to store these snacks in the classroom in our own fridge.
The classroom would greatly benefit from having its own fridge to store cold snacks so I do not have to take all the items that need to stay cold to our school fridge.
