My Project

My students love puzzles. It's not unusual to see a large 1000 or 500-piece puzzle on one table and two or three 100-piece puzzles on the floor. My classroom is a place where exceptional needs students come for lessons and sensory breaks. They may only have 10 minutes to work on the puzzle, so we need space to save the puzzle for when they come back.

We would like to have mobile puzzle spaces so students can have multiple puzzles going at the same time and not take up floor space where the puzzle could get walked on.

The snack trays are foldable when not used and when open are the perfect size for a small puzzle. The folding puzzle boards can take little space when not in use and can be stacked to hold multiple puzzles in progress for various students. My students have found that puzzles are calming. They teach them skills like spatial orientation, persistence, problem-solving, patience and so much more.
