My Project

Students today are less confident with their math skills and require lots of practice and formative checks. The dry-erase boards and markers allow the kids to get up and about in their groups to do their thinking and collaborate. In some instances, kids will perform quick summative assessments on individual boards.

Building a thinking classroom means students need to be able to show their thinking in multiple ways while getting up and around the classroom.

This is an opportunity for them to show they do know something, and no idea is bad, whether correct or incorrect.
