This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
I am creating a robotics club for 3rd-5th grade students and we need materials.
As their leader, I want to provide them hands-on STEM experiences through robotics while also incorporating collaboration, communication, and problem-solving.
This club will serve students who are interested in STEM, robotics, coding, and collaboration. Students who participate will experience a range of learning opportunities that will immerse them in research, problem-solving, coding, and engineering using a LEGO®SPIKE robot. Students will meet throughout the school year to develop, design, build, and code a LEGO® robot that navigates the missions of a robot game and develop an innovative project solution to a real-world problem. The core values of our club will focus on discovery, innovation, impact, inclusion, teamwork, and most of all fun.
