Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Bilingual books allow students to learn through reading with more accessibility. My students can more easily see similarities between words and will be able to compare and learn sentence structure, which will hopefully make them more eager to try reading in a second language.

Without your help, my classroom library is monolingual.

Your gift of books will help to encourage reading subjects that the students are exploring. Students become excited to see their home language and are able to make connections to literature. Thank you for thinking of our diverse students who are learning more and more English every day!
