My Project

As a high school library media specialist, I am passionate about creating innovative and engaging learning environments for our students. In recognition of the growing need to address sedentary behavior and promote physical activity among adolescents, I am excited to propose a grant application for the acquisition of exercise bikes with workstation tabletops for our high school library.

The goal of this grant proposal is to introduce exercise bikes equipped with workstation tabletops into our high school library, providing students with a unique and dynamic space where they can simultaneously work on assignments, conduct research, or read while engaging in physical activity.

We are seeking to acquire a set of high-quality exercise bikes designed for academic use with comfortable seating and sturdy workstation tabletops on each bike, allowing students to place Chromebooks, books, or writing materials securely while exercising.

We will collect data on the impact of this unique addition to the Media Center by establishing a monitoring system to track the usage of the exercise bikes; gathering feedback from students and teachers; and conducting periodic assessments to measure the impact on students' focus and overall well-being.

In conclusion, the integration of exercise bikes with workstation tabletops in our high school library will create an innovative and healthy learning environment. This grant proposal seeks to enhance students' cognitive abilities and promote overall health, fostering a culture of active learning in our school community. Your support will play a pivotal role in realizing this vision and positively impacting the lives of our students. I love the energy, enthusiasm, and diversity of our students. Their curiosity and eagerness to learn inspire me every day. The addition of exercise bikes in the media center will help them learn by addressing two critical aspects of their well-being: physical activity and cognitive engagement.
