My Project

The 2nd graders in my classroom are precious little balls of energy. They frequently need reminders about personal space, which can present challenges when we gather in the front of the room for a lesson.

This durable carpet will allow us to designate a soft, comfy spot for each of our future scientists, authors, musicians, and game-changers.

Helping the students know exactly where to sit reduces transition time, and allows us to preserve valuable instructional minutes.

We chose green because our classroom signage and materials include plentiful images of plants and nature, creating a calm environment for teaching and learning to occur.
