My Project

Have you seen this picture of my classroom? This is the entirety of our gym. We are a therapeutic residential program for high school aged teens. Many of the students in the program choose exercise as a positive outlet when working through their treatment. Unfortunately, the only weight training equipment available to them is the set of dumbbells and bench press pictured. While I am grateful for everything we already have, I think these students need a few more pieces of equipment in order to fully explore their potential.

A squat rack and an additional Olympic barbell would really give these students an opportunity to begin healthy habits that will support them now and into adulthood.

With your donation, this equipment will be immediately made available to the students in my class. The impact of your generosity will last for years to come. Please consider helping us.
