My Project

This project is going to aid in me teaching the whole class of learners in my classroom! One cannot adequately teach children who are hungry or tired, so I have created a project that addresses all of their needs. From hunger, to comfort, to the basics of reading, to the utilization of games. The goal is to support my class and their dynamic needs while also making learning and school fun for them through hands on experiences and collaboration with one another.

This project will also support the building of a positive classroom community.

In order to support the continued development of my class, I am requesting ink and copy paper to use our printer to access online resources that would be helpful printed. I am also requesting new books to add to our classroom library, starting with some books like Dick and Jane to help my readers independently be able to read "If You Give A Mouse A Cookie." I am also requesting new lapboards, games, and hands on learning kits because our class thrives on collaboration. All of these items allow for the students to talk and utilize different methods to learn.

Another very exciting item I am requesting for my students is a heat-press machine! We currently use a Cricut to make cut outs for things we need in our classroom, and now I'd love to teach my students how to make things using heat transfer. I am super excited for all of the skills this project is going to teach them and it will allow them the opportunity to grow in a multitude of ways!
